2.Shut pool down for 24 hours to see which body of water has gone down
appreciably.
3.Die test the skimmer then the entire pool or spa structure, including light
niche. If the leak is found, repair it with the proper material. Bring the pool
to proper levels and re-check water loss.
4.If the leak has not been found with the die test, pressure testing of each
individual plumbing line is required.
5.If you find one of the plumbing lines does not hold pressure, you may
be required to introduce air and water to the broken line and then use a
sophisticated listening device to properly the location of problem.
6.After properly locating an underground pool leak, it may be required to cut
open the deck with a saw to fix the leak providing it is not obtainable by
pulling up surrounding pavers.
7.Pressure test the repaired plumbing line. Repair the pool deck.
There are many steps to find and repair pool leaks. They can become quite
costly if not done by a highly qualified
pool professional. These were just the
basic steps in pool leak repair. There

can be involved.
