January 2022 • Florida Pool Prosm 15 As we finish another challenging year, to say the least, we say goodbye to the ones we lost and are grateful for all who are blessed with good health. I reflect on pre-covid when prosperity and growth where at a steady upswing, with an abundant work force, and had all the supplies we could ever need, at a discount! Quickly we learned the value of being an essential work force, as we sported the “essential worker” stickers and banners; with the comfort and gratitude of our industry and having the chance to continue to just be able to work! What have we learned as we continue to move forward? Supply chain, labor force and all the delays and unpredictability have all become the new norm along with ever-increasing price hikes from all sides, which do not seem to stop! Here are some tips that have helped us navigate the countless obstacles: • Communication! As each day comes, we have continuous updates from our vendors, distributors, and subcontractors; yet often our office deals with the Ready or not!
