CHAPTER NEWS
This fall the Chapter will be hosting a First Aide,CPR/AED Certification
Class. The course will have a discounted rate due to a grant fromAmerisure,
offered through
Insurance by Ken Brown
. The date is still being finalized
but the class will be held at 2101 Vista Parkway Ste.107, Crexent Business
Center, West Palm Beach. The class is three or four hours long. Members can
become certified for $10 and non-members are offered a reduced rate of $40.
Sign up so you can advertise that all employees are CPR Certified. This is a
great time to join the FSPAPalmBeach Chapter where you can take advantage

October 14 the Chapter will hold the monthly meeting at a new location.

, the program Guerilla Professional
Pool Management will offer two hours of CE credit. The class is a mainstay
favorite since the mid-1980’s. The course is designed to give building
managers, condominium managers, and maintenance supervisors a strong
foundation in swimming pool management techniques. The emphasis is
placed on identification of the major factors behind a successful pool/spa
operation, necessary instrumentation and paperwork required to monitor
these factors, and skills to interpret findings and supervise corrective actions.

The Chapter recognizes and thanks Anna Stewart, Palm Beach Drowning
Prevention Coalition, for her partnership with the Palm Beach Chapter to help
educate people on the importance of water safety programs and teaching
children to swim. For the second year, area students received swim lessons
at Barracuda Bay.
The Chapter recognizes the Melissa Taylor, Small Fish Big Fish Swim
School, for efforts in teaching autistic and other challenged children to swim.
