The FSPA Northeast Florida Chapter is the signature sponsor for Safe Kids Day event at the Jacksonville Zoo. The event is June 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Chapter will have a booth set up to educate adults and kids on drowning prevention. There will be games, coloring books and temporary tattoo’s for the kids while they learn about safety around water! We hope all of our members will bring their kids and grandkids out for this great event!

The FSPA Northeast Florida Chapter and the local BOAF chapter will hold a joint lunch and continuing education training on Wednesday, July 18 at 11:30 a.m. Jennifer Hatfield, FSPA government relations consultant, will present a one hour course on pool updates (FBC Advanced Module: 2017 Swimming Pool Updates, CILB course #0612562, 1 hr., FPSA d/b/a FSPA providership #0000917). We will have plenty of discussion time after the course. We hope all of our member will come out for this informative class and have the opportunity to interact and get to know our local building officials! The meeting is at the Mandarin Ramada Inn, 3130 Hartley Rd.
