Chapter Coordinator:  Sonja Dickey
(941) 952-9293

The Chapter would like to welcome IPSSA Region 11 as our newest Chapter member. We have a great year planned for 2019; we look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events.

Work and pleasure! That’s what it’s all about for this Chapter! The Chapter Board meeting held on March 12 was at the Sarasota Kennel Club. After welcoming new members and guests, we discussed pool industry topics while eating lunch. Once business was complete, we all had time to watch the greyhounds run the track.

Legislative Days was March 20-21 in Tallahassee. Deidre Bedford, West Coast Pools, and Sydney Korshack, Pool Corp, represented the Chapter by meeting with local representatives about major pool industry issues affecting our area.

Register your golf teams today! The 4th Annual Manasota Chapter Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, April 27 at Legacy Golf Club for a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start! Check you emails for registration forms. Sponsorship opportunities are available; email Sonja for more details. Fore!

Our next Chapter Board meeting, which all members are encouraged to attend, will be Tuesday, April 9 at 11:45 a.m. at the FSPA state office.

Thank you to our 2019 Platinum Sponsors, Pebble Tec and Red Rhino Leak Detection, for your continued support!

Your 2019 Board of Directors is working on exciting and educational events. Please let us hear from you with any suggestions for speakers or events.  If you haven’t already, please like our Facebook page at FSPA Manasota Chapter to keep up with upcoming events and meetings.

What’s happened since then? Certainly all three of these conditions […]

By Greg Bowers, Pinch-A-Penny / cane2000@bellsouth.net As we continue to see growth in the number of people moving to Florida and the number of new pools being built each year, plus an already large number of existing pools, the need for pool service is in demand even more each year.
