On November 13 the Chapter hosted Bill Hodgkins, IRM Payroll, to teach us several reasons why a business would want to, and should, outsource their payroll processing and HR services to an outside firm.  In addition, our very own Rob Sanger, Galaxy Pools, taught about trucks with the presentation My Service Truck: Is it Safe? Our members were thrilled to have a packed night of important information. Thank you to all who attended.

The first Tuesday of the month, December 4, the Charlotte Harbor Chapter has invited us to attend their annual holiday dinner party at 6:00 p.m. at the Wyvern PERCH 360 Rooftop restaurant.  Bring a $20 gift for a white elephant gift exchange.  Hope to see you there.

A huge congratulations to four of our member companies who received the 2018 Pool and Spa News Top 50 Service Companies award: #2 was Coast to Coast, #10 Aqua Doc Pool Clinic, #18 Aquatech Pools and #29 On Time Pool Service. Great job!

The Chapter recently donated $500 to Future Builders of America. This money will allow five students from the Sarasota/Bradenton area to attend the FBA leadership summit in March 2019 in Haines City. Our Chapter is ready to introduce the pool trade to up and coming students.

Your incoming 2019 Board, who will be listed in next month’s article, is working on exciting and educational events.  Please let us hear from you with any suggestions for speakers or events.  If you haven’t already, please like our Facebook page at FSPA Manasota Chapter to keep up with upcoming events and meetings.
