Construction
Industry Licensing Board (CILB)
The purpose of the Construction Industry Licensing Board is to regulate the various groups within the construction industry. The CILB requires that every member of the industry complete 14 hours of continuing education courses every two years in order to stay licensed.
They also coordinate the state Contractors Exam.

Florida Building Commission (FBC)
The Florida Building Commission was established in 1998 in response to the passing of the Florida Building Code by the Florida Legislature. The purpose of the FBC is to develop and regulate the code, which affects all members of the building industry.
