Executive Director
|
Wendy is a graduate of Florida Southern College, is Accredited in Public Relations and has a Certification in Exhibit Management. Prior to joining FSPA in 2001, she was promotions manager for a Tampa based corporate training company and had been director of public relations and marketing for the United Way organizations in Ocala and Lakeland. As Executive Director, Wendy manages six staff members handling marketing, technical training, meetings and events, accounting and government relations for the association.

Technical Training Coordinator
|
Bernice has worked at the FSPA since November 2004. She has both her undergraduate and graduate degree in psychology, as well as experience in management and education development. For two years she coordinated an education program for disadvantaged youth that taught them how to start a business. She was also a restaurant manager. Bernice handles education promotion, scheduling and curriculum planning. |

Event & Marketing Coordinator
|
Jennifer has a bachelors degree from Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania. She has worked closely with contractors in her role as a construction project manager for several years. Jennifer will be handling the board meetings, swim meet, membership promotions, design awards, social marketing, advertising sales for Florida Pool Prosm and obtaining event sponsorships. She started with FSPA in August 2011.

Communications Specialist

Charis has a degree in public relations from the University of Florida and previously worked as the director of marketing for SweetBerries Frozen Custard & Eatery. She has worked for the FSPA since December 2007 where she maintains the Web site, handles all printed materials, produces the monthly newsletter, and plans the Board of Directors meetings and the annual swim meet.

Accounting Manager Bob McCarty |
Bob McCarty began as the FSPA Accounting Manager in July 2011. He attended Bentley College in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to moving to Florida he spent his career with several companies in the textile industry in a variety of executive management positions. Most recently, Bob worked for Omega Garage Doors in Venice as CFO/Controller.

Administrative Assistant Valerie Swika-Bundy
|
Valerie joined FSPA in July 2007. She was previously the office manager for Beachfront Properties of Boca Grande. For FSPA, she coordinates direct mail production, maintains office equipment and supplies, and assists with the quarterly board meetings.
