Northeast Florida Chapter

A great group of over 70 people attended the Jacksonville Suns baseball game on July 22. Delicious BBQ chicken, ribs and all the fixin’s were enjoyed by all. The Suns pulled out another win in extra innings. Thank you to all who came out to the ball game!

The next Chapter meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 15 – please mark your calendars. The Board meeting begins at 5:00 p.m., with a social from 6:00 p.m. -6:30 p.m. and food and the meeting at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be at the Holiday Inn Town Center. This is a week earlier than normal due to the state Board meeting in Jupiter taking place September 24–25.

The Oktoberfest is in the planning stages. Mark your calendar for October 9 and look for more information soon.

Thank you to all the members who renewed their annual dues. We certainly appreciate it and are glad you recognize the benefits of being a part of this amazing organization. If you have not renewed yet, terminations were effective August 31. Renew! The State office has made renewal very easy with online renewal and different payment plan options.

While we talk about this each month, we receive no requests for meeting topics. Remember, this is your Chapter – let your voice be heard. All suggestions are welcome regarding any programs or CE courses you would like to have at the Chapter meetings.
