2012 got off to a great start with the state Board of Directors meeting in Orlando, January 13-14. The Strategic Planning Workshop led by Chuck Carmen got everyone’s attention and got them thinking of ways to increase the FSPA membership for 2012. There was positive energy in the room while members came up with a number of excellent ideas to further develop the Association.
“Be the Thunder”- our next Tampa Bay Chapter event is Thursday, March 15. The Tampa Bay Lightning takes on the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Tampa Bay Times Forum starting at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy a fun-filled night in the north party suite with an all-you-can-eat buffet and all-you-can-drink wine, beer, and soda for $100 per person. The once-a-year Chapter Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, April 13 at the Eagles Golf & Country Club. The price is $88 per person and includes golf, golf cart, beer, dinner and prizes. Get ready! The 2012 Orlando Pool & Spa Show is February 24-25 at the Orange County Convention Center. It is the premier event of the southeastern United States’ swimming pool industry. This annual event attracts thousands of industry professionals from all over the United States and the Caribbean.
