The new year got off to a great start with the state Board of Directors meeting in Orlando, January 13-14. The Strategic Planning Workshop led by Chuck Carmen got everyone paying attention and thinking of ways to increase the FSPA membership for 2012. There was positive energy in the room while members came up with a number of excellent ideas to further develop the Association.
Jeremy Hine, Florida Leisure Pool & Spa; Scott Kaufman, Pool Corp – Ocala; and Mike Stewart, Mike Stewart’s Pool & Pressure Cleaning; had a great meeting January 10 in Gainesville. They met with a representative from Hayward who discussed their Aqua Rite Electronic Chlorine Generators (also known as salt chlorinators), which are the largest selling system in the world. The next Board of Directors and membership meeting will be in Ocala on Tuesday, February 14. In the planning stages for 2012 are vendor speakers, CE classes, and several engaging events. Information should be arriving to your inbox in the next month.
