 The Chapter Board met on Tuesday, May 7 at Queen’s Pizza in Clearwater. The next Board of Directors meeting is at noon on Tuesday, June 4 at Queen’s Pizza, 1834 N. Belcher Rd., Clearwater. Our Board of Directors meetings are usually scheduled for the first Tuesday of the month. We are always interested in hearing your ideas for Chapter meetings and programs.

The Florida West Coast Chapter held its 2019 Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 11 at the Bardmoor Golf and Tennis Club, located in Seminole.  We had 117 golfers!  The Chapter would like to thank the sponsors and volunteers who helped make this event such a success.  Premier Sponsors include:  Lo-Chlor, National Pool Route Sales, and SCP Distributors – Clearwater.  We would also like to thank our Hole Sponsors and those who donated door prizes:  AquaCal/Autopilot, Aquaworx USA, Century Electric Motors, C L Industries, Florida Leak Locators, Fresh Finish Pools, Gorman Company – Clearwater, Largo and St. Pete, Gulfstream Heat Pumps, Hayward Pool Products, Horner Xpress –

Kick off your Independence Day celebration with a Night at the Ball Park!  Join the Florida West Coast Chapter on Wednesday, July 3 at Spectrum Field in Clearwater in the Big Shark Café.  Come watch the Clearwater Threshers play the Fort Myers Miracle in a covered, Club Level group area with padded seats.  The gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the game starts at 7:00 p.m.  Included in the admission cost of $25 for adults (ages 13 and up) and $20 for children (ages 5-12) is 2.5 hours
(6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) of all-you-care-to-eat ball park favorites and more!  Post-game fireworks show included!  Call Malinda for ticket information.

The FSPA Merit Scholarship application is now available. Dependents of owners/employees of FSPA member companies are eligible to receive money for college! Download the application from the FSPA website for full details and information. All materials are due by July 1, 2019 for the 2019-20 academic year.

The scholarship application for the 2018-2019 FSPA Scholarship Program is ready!  Dependents of owners or company employees (of 2+ years) are welcome to download the application.  All materials are due in the office by June 29.  Spread the word to any company staff with graduating high schoolers or college students.
