The Everything Under the Sunsm Expo is on February 9-10 at the Orange County Convention Center, West Hall E.  FSPA members, who are paid in full, enter education courses and exhibit hall for FREE! We look forward to celebrating Sunny Florida Days with all our members!

We hope you were able to make it to Legislative Days in Tallahassee, FL on January 16-17.  If you attended, please send Sonja your pictures.  The Chapter would like to share your experience on social media outlets and in this magazine. Thank you!

Mark your calendar!  The Chapter’s second annual Golf Tournament will take place at Heron Creek Golf and Country Club on May 5 benefiting the FSPA scholarship program.  Watch for registration and sponsorship information soon.

Our next Board meeting, which all members are encouraged to attend, will be Monday, March 5 at 6:00 p.m. right before our scheduled CE class, Chapter 489 – An Overview of Construction Responsibilities (CILB course #0608746, 1 hr., meets laws and rules requirement, Florida Pool & Spa Association d/b/a Florida Swimming Pool Association CILB providership #0000917). This 1 hour CE class meets the laws and rules requirements.  It is instructed by Don Cesarone, Van Kirk and Sons, Inc.  It will be held at Donato’s Restaurant in Port Charlotte.

We will not have a Board meeting in February as we encourage our members to attend the Expo.
