Happy New Year!  The Chapter would like to introduce to you the upcoming 2019 Board: President Ben Evans, All American Pools & Spas; Vice President Jeff Lucas, HornerXpress; Secretary Todd Koonts, Spies Pools; Treasurer Shawn King, FL Leak Locators; and Directors Steve Bludsworth, All Pool Service & Supply; Ken Brown, Insurance by Ken Brown; Nick Arceneaux, Superior Solar; Paul Roth, Roll-A-Way Protective Pool Fence; Cory Weil, Red Rhino Leak Detection; Ken Martin, Aquatic Design & Engineering; Richard Moseley, Holland Pools; Adam Alstott, Tropical Pools; and Colleen Salvage, Central FL Advertising & Design. We are all looking forward to a wonderful year ahead!

The Chapter ended the year by giving a huge round of applause and saying thank you to Tony Caruso, TC Water Features, who has been our Chapter president for the past seven years! Thank you for all you have done for the Chapter and for the association, Tony!

Registration is open! We invite you to the Everything Under the Sunsm Expo! Join us February 22-23 at the Orange County Convention Center, West Hall A2-A3. FSPA members, with dues paid in full, enter education courses and the exhibit hall for FREE!

FSPA Legislative Days in Tallahassee is not until March 20-21 this year. Details will be sent out soon. We hope to see you there!

Mark your calendar! Our third annual Casino Night and Silent Auction benefiting Education and Safety Around the Water is scheduled for Thursday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m.
at Dubsdread Country Club. Watch for emails regarding this not-to-be-missed event! If you’d like to donate an auction item for the silent auction please be in contact with Sonja. The auction will have pool and non-pool related items. The more, the better!

Please note the change to our regularly scheduled January Board meeting.  Our next Chapter Board meeting, hosted by our incoming 2019 Board, which all members are encouraged to attend, will be Tuesday, January 15 at noon at All Pool Service and Supply. Your 2019 Board are working on exciting and educational events. Please let us hear from you with any suggestions for speakers or events.
