On November 14, Chapter members gathered to hear Omry Porat, Solaxx Water Treatment Solutions, speak on the products and services the firm offers.  Solaxx designs and develops user-friendly and eco-friendly systems for residential swimming pools.  Thank you Omry Porat for an excellent program.

Christmas at Sailfish Marina is always a popular party.  This year on December 1 the Chapter will meet in the Palm Room.  There will be games and the annual White Elephant gift exchange.  Plan to register early as seating is limited due to the room size. A tropical island buffet will be served.  Thank you to the following sponsors:  Commercial Energy Specialists, Florida Water Products, Pentair, Proline Distributors, SCP Distributors, and Team Horner.

Please welcome and support the Chapter leadership for 2018.  President Brett Holland, Treasure Pools and Service; Vice President Ed Morse, Sunshine Pools & Stable Waters; Treasurer David Villandry, Commercial Energy Specialists; and Secretary John Adams, Blue Fin Builders.  The remaining slate of Directors are as follows: Jim Bingold, Proline Distributors; Robbie Frederick, Red Rhino Leak Detection; Chad Gardner, Horizon Pool & Patio; Scott Griswold, Hula Pools; and Steve Hackl, Hackl Pool Construction.

The members representing the Chapter on the FSPA State Board are:  Brett Holland, Ed Morse, John Adams, Scott Griswold and David Villandry with Chad Gardner as an alternate and sixth director if the Chapter membership increases to allow another voting member.  Jim Bingold is the incoming vice president of the FSPA State Board of Directors.  A special thank you to all of these members for their time and commitment to the association.

Committee members serve at the state level as well as develop programs and events for the Chapter.  Please welcome Brett Holland as the Chapter’s new representative on the state’s President’s Council, State Trade Show/Education Committee, and Work Force/Task Force Committees; John Adams and Steve Hackl on the Builder’s Council, Scott Griswold on the Service Council, and Ed Morse on the State Trade Show/Education Committee.  Robbie Frederick will chair the Chapter’s 2018 Pool & Spa Show.

Unless otherwise notified, meetings are held at Contractors Business Park, 2701 Vista Pkwy., West Palm Beach.  Check-in is at 6:30 p.m. with a light dinner and refreshments served.  Programs start promptly at 7:00 p.m.  Members may attend for a nominal fee of $10.  Non-member pricing is $20 per person. Continuing Education (CE credit) meetings are free for members.
